Look What's Missing - Even in Revelation

By David W. Daniels

Revelation 22:18-19  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Some people say that because this curse is at the end of the Bible, it refers to adding to or taking away from any word of the entire Bible. Other people say, "That`s crazy! It only refers to changing words in the book of Revelation itself."

Does it even matter? Historically, Revelation is one of the most changed books of the Bible! And friends, if people are willing to change a book with such a clear curse on those who pervert it, they are willing to change anything.

Consider the following sample:

KJV
NIV, etc.
What is at stake
Revelation 1:8:  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord,

Revelation 1:8:  "I am the Alpha and the Omega," ______________ says the Lord God,

Clarity that Jesus is eternal, not created.
Revelation 1:11: Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, ...

Revelation 1:11: which said: ___________ " ...."

Clarity that Jesus is eternal, not created.
Revelation 5:14: And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever. Revelation 5:14: ...and the elders fell down and worshiped ______________. Clarity of the Lord being eternal, not created.
Revelation 14:5: And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Revelation 14:5: No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless______________.

They weren`t faultless or perfect — but their hearts were right ... before man? No, before God.
Revelation 20:12: And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: Revelation 20:12: And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened Clarity that all the dead shall stand before God..

Revelation 22:14:
Blessed are they that do his commandments,

Revelation 22:14:  "Blessed are those who wash their robes, Blessed for obedience or clean clothes??
Revelation 22:19: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, Revelation 22:19: And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, It is no coincidence that the most changed book of the Bible would remove eternal damnation from the very curse for changing God`s words!

This is only a small sample of the differences between the Bibles. These are not "Equal" Readings!

Conclusion: Would you rather your friends read a Bible that God has clearly blessed, or one He has clearly cursed? Brothers and sisters, let us be earnest in showing others the truth about the King James Bible, God`s preserved words in English.
