Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

The world is ripe for revival. And by that I don’t mean salvation —I mean revival of the saints. Revival was never about simply saving souls. It was about God using prepared Christians to reach the world, and God providing the increase. When the Church will revive, salvation can thrive.

These desperate times have caught the world —and the church— by surprise. But they shouldn’t have. It’s a pattern right out of the Bible. When God’s people didn’t stand for the Lord, the whole nation suffered. There are millions of people in our own country who do not know the basic gospel message.

But God can use us to change all that.

First, our own hearts must be prepared. “…Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns” (Jeremiah 4:3). We need to repent of our selfishness and move anything out of the way that stands between us and God. Bible open, entertainment off: we need prayer and Bible reading. Then we need to ask God, “What do You want me to do?” and ask Him to help us hear Him and do it.

Second, always be ready to pass out Chick tracts.

Third, bring a small Bible to show scriptures. It proves the ideas weren’t just from our heads, but from our Authority: God’s words.

Finally, pray for opportunities. God will give them, because He’s God and that’s what He does.

If we plow our hearts and distribute God’s gospel seeds, then we can trust that God will bring revival and salvation: “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase” (1 Corinthians 3:6).
