Many of the powerful in this world are trying to leverage the coronavirus pandemic to their own advantage. Not the least of these is the Pope. Posing as the champion of Christianity he is proposing that: “The time has come to eliminate inequalities, to heal the injustice that is undermining the health of the entire human family!”

Pope Francis further commented, “Let us welcome this time of trial as an opportunity to prepare for our collective future. Because without an all-embracing vision, there will be no future for anyone.” The Pope also decried the possibility of a “selfish indifference” replacing the COVID-19 when it is tamed.

The ideology behind these comments is directly in line with the pope’s background as an Archbishop in Latin America. Terms like “inequality”, “injustice” and “collective future” all expose the thinly disguised veneer over basic Marxism incorporated into Catholicism under the name of liberation theology. The most graphic examples of the results of this “liberation” is the complete destruction of Venezuela’s prosperity and Cuba’s lost generation to spiritual bondage.

As we march toward the era of the Antichrist, it is increasingly evident that Marxism will be the political dimension of the one-world government. It neatly incorporates some of Satan’s basic lies. Foundational to all of it is atheistic evolution, which declares there’s no need for God because man is mutating continually to a higher level of perfection and only needs the right environment to thrive.

Of course they believe that the easiest and best way to achieve that correct environment is to put the governments in charge of everything. The benevolent hearts of these elite leaders will then provide the security and prosperity for a whole new world order. Of course anyone who cares to object to this utopian dream will need to be left in the dust figuratively or literally.

The pandemic also showcased the Pope’s dedication to ecumenism. He proclaimed May 14th as a global day of fasting and prayer and doing works of charity by “all believers together, believers of the different traditions.” He has already come out as a proponent of an interreligious day of prayer. In 2019 he visited the United Arab Emirates where he cosigned with Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb, Grand Iman of Al-Azhar, a Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together. This agreement called for global prayer events by all “believers” regardless of religious “tradition.”

Such prayer “events” tend primarily to plead for God to step in, genie fashion, and fix our problems instead of deep repentance for the abominations that we throw in God’s face every day. How long will we continue to “ask amiss” so that we can “consume it upon [our own] lusts”? (See James 4:3.)

Further evidence that Roman Catholicism is the true prostitute Church of Revelation 17 and 18 is another form of asking amiss: Prayer to Mary. Christian News Network posted a May, 2 article stating: “The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops have joined together to ‘consecrate’ their nations to the care of Mary on May 1 and to ask that she intercede to Jesus during the COVID pandemic.”

Of course the bishops were only following in the footsteps of the Pope who, early on in the pandemic, prayed at a shrine for Mary to twist Jesus’ arm to stop the virus.

This unbiblical behavior demonstrates how far we have strayed from God’s word. It is even more diabolical when you review the history of the modern Bibles and see the plot to gently, but firmly, shift the wording in favor of this counterfeit “church.”

Soul winners, we have much work to do. Let’s not let this time of confused hearts go to waste.
