A Message From David Daniels

Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

Due to the recent pandemic, and the quarantining of well people in their homes, we are in information overload! Every point of view under the sun is on our computers and cell phones, though with few exceptions, mostly one point of view is presented on the television.

How can anyone find out the truth in the midst of so much noise?

Some are saying that we must trust the WHO (World Health Organization) and the CDC (Centers for Disease Control). Others are saying we must trust anyone but the WHO and the CDC.

Who can we believe?

“...let God be true, but every man a liar;” (Romans 3:4). That’s God’s perspective. Does God say we are supposed to be panicking? What did Jesus say? “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

But what are we supposed to be doing while the rest of the world is panicking? Jesus said “…Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

And even when you cannot have a long conversation, you can place a little missionary in their hand: a basic gospel tract. That’s why I stuff my pockets with Chick tracts, a few each of as many different titles as I can. Then I pray for which one to give to whom.

Someone can say “No,” but he or she is more likely to say “Yes,” or even “Thank you.”

Isn’t it worth that tiny risk, to share in saving a soul for whom Christ died? It is for me, and many of you. God bless you all, as you spread Christ’s message of peace (with God) in the midst of panic.

In Christ Jesus, and for His service,
