Prison Ministry Letters

I got busted...
I've been in and out of prisons most of my life starting at age 12, and I'm 38 now. Until last September I was just another of the many lost souls out there in the world, but when I got busted, God changed all that. I want you to know that a lot of your tracts had a lot to do with my coming to the Lord.

Saved on a bus seat...
I accepted the Lord as my personal Saviour, while on my way to this institution. I got on the bus and picked a seat to sit on when I noticed a little black book laying on the seat. It's title was This Was Your Life! I read it and asked Jesus to save me. Now I can serve my time here with peace in my heart and mind.

One of your tracts led me to Christ...
I am a prisoner and have accepted Christ Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Now I want to share Him with others here who are like I was, full of despair, frustration, hate and sorrow. I want to show them there is another way to live, one that is free, full of joy and love. It was one of your tracts that led me to Christ and a deeper understanding of the Bible.

You were right about those J.W.s...
I am an inmate in the state prison. Three days ago I met two Jehovah's Witnesses who invited me to study the Bible with them this weekend. Then I picked up your tract The Crisis. I looked in my Bible and saw that you are right about those J.W.s. Thank you for steering me in the right direction.
