Meanwhile, here is a brief review of what has happened since the last printed Battle Cry.

We just shipped a pallet of 100,000 Spanish Chick tracts to Beacon of Truth in Bedford, PA, to be loaded into a container along with 15,000 Bibles, and much other Christian literature, for Missionary Nelson Gimenez.

Thirty thousand Chick tracts went to Missionary Nico Verhoef for him and his team to take into the Balkans. He writes, “We are ready to attack the three capitals of Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia in Eastern Europe with the gospel of the grace of God.”

Forty thousand Italian Chick tracts have reached Missionary Joshua Leib in Sicily, where they will be used to help plant a new church.

Missionary James Herringson has received the 10,000 French tracts that are bringing new visitors to his church in Flic en Flac, within the Black River District of Mauritius.

Missionary Todd Eklund received 4,000 tracts for outreach in Mexico City. In the picture below, you can clearly see his love for the Lord’s work.

Missionary Eileen Pendleton received 10,000 Spanish “This Was Your Life” to use in reaching the families waiting at the hospital in Zacatecas. She reaches many different families there every week.

One and a half million Spanish Chick tracts for Missionary Joe Hendrigsman have gone to Lee’s Summit, Missouri, where Seeds of Grace Transport will take them over 1,800 miles to Oaxaca to be used in schools, medical brigades and church plants.

The container for Venezuela is now all packed up and ready to go and will now make its way to be used in this difficult country. Missionary Lacy Wheeler writes, “Glory be to God! Today we sent out 21 pallets of Bibles and literature to Venezuela. That includes one million Chick tracts and around 100,000 Romans/Plan of Salvation from Beacon of Truth, 6,048 whole Bibles, and 500,000 tracts from The Conversion Center.”

Missionary Jason Madera received 10,000 Italian tracts in Agugliaro. He writes, “Thank all of you for getting another shipment of 10,000 tracts to us, here in Northern Italy. The very next week, we were able to get 900 of this shipment distributed out in a nearby coastal town. There’s a lot more work to do in that area and so the rest of that shipment will be used there as well.”

Missionary Paul Brinkman in Auckland received 20,000 Chick tracts in two new languages that he translated for us.

Missionary Nate Wilkerson received 110,000 tracts to load into his container headed to Benin.

Twenty thousand tracts were received by Missionary Mark Dunlap in Lichinga to help build his work of 19 years.

We have shipped 120,000 Spanish Chick tracts to Missionary Paul Buskager for a big outreach in Tijuana.

Fifteen thousand five hundred tracts for Pastor Austin Wartner have been shipped and delivered in Nagoya, Japan, for outreach planned during the Asian Games where over 45 different Asian countries will be represented. Many of the tracts will go home to countries that are very hard to get tracts into.

In March of this year we shipped 70,000 Chick tracts to Missionary Mike Dobbins in the Copperbelt of Zambia. These tracts had to travel across country to a consolidator who loaded them into a container. They then travelled around the Horn of Africa to reach Zambia. Finally, the long-awaited Chick tracts have now been delivered to him in Chingola.

Missionary Eric Woodworth received 3,000 Spanish Chick tracts to use in growing both of his church plants. He writes that this new work in the capital city is “going well and growing.”

Missionary Scott Sumner received 200,000 Chick tracts in Danlí to help grow his church.

A veteran missionary (name withheld) received 6,000 tracts for his trip to Thailand.

Since her husband Ron Sykes passed away on the field, Missionary Marilee Sykes in De Deur has stayed behind to help further development of the church. She received 3,000 Chick tracts.

The door for the Gospel in the Philippines is still wide open. Some missionaries believe this is God’s blessing because the Philippines quickly recognized the new nation of Israel in 1948. We want to take advantage of this open door and are planning to send another container. With your help we will be able to complete this project. We sent 2,000 tracts to Missionary Jason Hines and they have now been delivered to him in Lévis. He writes, “THANK YOU FOR THE CHICK TRACTS!!!” Below you’ll see the team ready to distribute tracts during their door-to-door outreach.
