Prisoners Love Chick Tracts

Chick Publications received the following letter from a customer who began supplying tracts to a local prison. She writes:

I want to share with you what God is doing in conjunction with your tracts. This note is from a chaplain who, in September told me he did not know what he was doing at such a dry bones prison. His obstacles seemed insurmountable. In October he reported that he was seeing the hand of God move on the staff and the inmates, and could now see why God wanted him there. Now read this and look what`s happening:

I was about to send you an email to say thanks for the Chick Tracts. The guys are loving them and we are running out about a week to two weeks before they come again. If we could up them by 100, that would be great. I can`t begin to tell you how revival has broken out here and you have a huge part in that.

The inmates are showing up now just to see if we have more and different tracts. It`s an awesome thing to see the Lord open up doors with our Chapel Clerks (they are inmates themselves) and talk to the guys about the tracts. This one ministry alone has brought over 200 inmates to the Lord since we last communicated.

They want to come into my office and talk about the things they are reading! You and your ministry are truly sent from God for a time such as this. I have no doubt that when you get to heaven, some inmate from here will walk up and say, "Do you know why I am here? It`s because you sent some tracts to Chaplain B----- and he gave them to me to read and led me to the Lord!"

Thank you so much for listening to the Lord and your heart for us here. I can`t find words to tell you the blessing you are.

Editor`s note: More and more soul winners are writing to Chick Publications that they are finding an opportunity to minister to inmates at local jails and prisons. Sometimes all it takes is a call to a chaplain for an appointment to show him some of the tracts. Often they will eagerly accept donations of literature on a regular basis to reach the rotating inmate population.

Don`t forget: prisoners know they are sinners and very often are open to the gospel.

If you wish to provide Chick tracts to help prisoners find Christ, send your donation to: Chick Tracts For Prisoners, Mission Possible, P. O. Box 1184, Inverness, FL. 34451-0836. You will get a tax deductible receipt and a newsletter detailing the progress of their ministry.
