I had just given a Chick tract to our server at the restaurant and was telling her about our YouTube channel and Chick web page. Her eyes lit up. She saw the back of the tract, handed it back to me and said, “Could you write them down for me?” Could I! I was delighted. I quickly took the Chick tract and wrote down the information in the blank space on the back.

That gave me an idea. What if every time I need a spare piece of paper when talking to a person, I quickly grab a Chick tract and write on the back of it? It is the easiest way to give someone a tract that I know of! We can even be creative and think of things that the person we talk to might need for us to write down.

Almost instinctively we can reach for the Chick tract in our pocket and a pen that we keep on our person and write the information. Boom! That person has now received a Chick tract. And what’s more, they will not want to throw it away, because we wrote information they want on the back! It’s a win-win!

As I said last newsletter, I wear two-pocket shirts, with the new tract in the left pocket and an assortment of other tracts on the right. If they already have the one on the left, I let them choose from the others!

But now I can add a new dimension, thanks to the server we met on our vacation: use the tracts as writing paper! They get the information they need for the moment­ —and the eternal message of salvation when they turn it over!
