A Message From Jack Chick

Dear Ones in Christ,

Under the wicked rule of the Roman Caesars, God had Paul write these important words:

"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."  (1 Timothy 2:1-4)

So it is our duty as Bible-believers to always lift up our presidents, congress, judges and local authorities in prayer. Only through that can God provide the peace and quiet necessary for effective evangelism. God also wrote through Paul:

"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God..." (Romans 13:1-2)

We can be glad that the elections are over. Now we have a whole new set of people to pray for. So let`s get back to the real business of spreading the gospel. Politics will not amount to a hill of beans in eternity. We must give ourselves to God, to reach as many people with the gospel as the Lord allows. It doesn`t matter in heaven how many people we change to our political beliefs. But it is vital to their eternal souls that they be saved by faith in the blood of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Your brother in Christ,
